Frequently Asked Questions

 What is gluten?
Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. It is this protein that helps with the elasticity of the dough that gives baked goods the textures that we all have learned to love so much. Gluten protein may be found in an array of products from food to beer to beauty products.
In recent years, millions of people around the world have developed Celiac disease, intolerance to gluten and gluten allergies/sensitivities.  For them ingesting foods containing gluten can cause an immune response that inflames and damages the walls of the small intestines,  sometimes causing symptoms that include abdominal cramping, chronic fatigue, depression, and many that are much more serious. So far, avoiding this protein has been the only solution found in the medical field to prevent against future damage from the disease/sensitivity.

Are all of your baked goods gluten-free?
Yes, we are a 100% dedicated and certified gluten free facility using only certified gluten free flours and products. We are inspected for sanitation by the town of Hawthorne and by the State of New Jersey for compliance with USFDA gluten free regulations.
Are your products Sesame Free?
None of our products contain sesame flour, oil, seeds, or any other variation of sesame.

How long do your baked goods stay fresh?
It varies by product and it depends on the storing and packaging being used. Most products are best if consumed within 48 hours. To keep longer, we recommend that you wrap our baked goods in plastic wrap and put them in an airtight container in the freezer. When you are ready to consume, thaw at room temperature.

Do your baked goods contain nuts?

We are a completely nut free facility. However, we do use coconut in some of our products. According to scientists and biologists coconut is a fruit. In Europe along with other countries, coconut is listed and treated as a fruit by their health departments. Nevertheless in the US, the FDA classifies coconut as a nut. Please check with your doctor for coconut allergies.

We do use some ingredients that are processed in factories that keep peanuts and tree nuts on premises.
